　　The roots trace back to 1889 when Leopole Köninger created his first own Kirsch by using the new discovered plant and copper vessel distillation. He soon became renowned for crystal clear brandies with a fruity flavor and an imposing taste. His son Wihelm then expended the business at the beginning of the 20th. He firmly believed that cherries’ type and quality are the main factors in making perfect Kirsch. In 1952, his daughter Olga and her husband set up a company of their own. They used three firs as logo and named it “3-Tannen”, becoming the professional fruit brandy manufacturer which following the traditional principle.
