Tahiti Vanille
A France general imported Vanilla pods into Polynesia in 1848. In Polynesia, Tahiti is the most suitable place for cultivating rich and aromatic vanilla because of its soil. Different from other types of vanilla, Tahiti vanilla pods will not split open and still remain full and fresh when they are ripe. Vanilla is planted organically in the lush forest in order to retain its fine quality. It can not be harvested until reaching perfect dark brown color. Before providing to customers, it must be carefully processed, blanched, fermented, dried and conditioned. However, the production of Tahiti vanilla is less than 1% in the world total vanilla production. People will love the flavor as long as they try it. Its unique flower scent mixed with pleasant aroma of plum, liquorices and chocolate endeared to many chefs who use top ingredients. Tahiti vanilla pods become chefs’ favorite now.
