What is Michelin Star?
In 1904, Michelin, the tire company started their Michelin guide. Gradually it evolved into a restaurant review benchmark for restaurants across Europe. They have published two guides, the green one is for travel, and the red one is for restaurant. In 1920, Michelin awards 0 to 3 stars on the basis of the anonymous reviews. The reviewers concentrate on the quality, mastery of technique, personality and consistency of the food, in making the reviews. In addition to restaurant, a chef can also get Michelin star, awards 0 to 3. To keep the awards, the chef needs to keep improving their skills so as to pass Michelin review every year.
